The Arlington Explorers is an eclectic homeschool support group serving Arlington and surrounding areas. They meet for weekly park dates, monthly field trips, small interest-based groups, and service projects. Although the majority of the families in AE are Christian, they do not require a signed statement of faith to join and all denominations are welcome. Brevard Alternative Homeschool is a support group for Brevard County, Florida Homeschoolers practicing or exploring alternative philosophies such as agnosticism, atheism, humanism, Paganism, Native American spiritualism or Wicca. All others friendly to freethought or alternative philosophies are welcome. The Broward Christian Homeschoolers (BCH) is a Christ-centered, Broward county based homeschool parent support group located in South Florida. They offer support, encouragement and resources to homeschooling parents, homeschool families and those interested in home education in Florida. (Broward)

Broward Teens and Tweens

Broward Teens and Tweens is an inclusive group designed to meet the needs of Tween (age 10-12) and Teen (13+) homeschool children. Younger siblings are always welcome, but all outings are selected with the needs and abilities of the older kids in mind. They have monthly outings for the kids and other events, and they ask that everyone take a turn in scheduling events for the group. (Broward)

Central Florida’s original “teen only” homeschool group! Central Florida Pre Teen/Teen Homeschoolers is for families homeschooling students age 11 to 18 and living in Central Florida. If you have younger children as well, you may join however, only children that are 11 & up can participate. Alachua Regional Catholic Home Schoolers

Alachua Regional Catholic Home Schoolers (ARCHS) is a Catholic Homeschool & Mom’s Group that meets First Friday mornings at St. Madeleine Catholic Church in High Springs, FL for Mass & Children’s Adoration. They meet on 3rd Fridays for Mass at Holy Faith Catholic Church in Gainesville followed by picnic and play at Possum Creek park. They also get together for other activities and field trips. The group serves Alachua and surrounding counties, including but not limited to Columbia, Gilchrist, Levy and Union. Alternative Homeschool Educators ofSouth Florida

Alternative Homeschool Educators of South Florida is an all inclusive homeschool group serving Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties. This group believes in respect for all people regardless of homeschooling styles, race, age or religion.  It offers an online discussion list that includes discussion on all styles of teaching (life learning, unschooling, school at home, eclectic…) useful links, homeschool support from experienced parents, park days, field trips, educational co-ops and much more. APPLE Homeschool Group

APPLE is an Adventist homeschool support group for families in the Central Florida area. They offer homeschool activities, field trips, workshops, etc.  Ideas, encouragement, and support are also passed along among members. APPLE Homeschool Group is a volunteer organization. Bay Area Christian Homeschoolers

Bay Area Christian Homeschoolers (BACH) is a not for profit, volunteer, non-denominational Christian support group for homeschooling families mainly in Hillsborough and Pasco counties. They are Christian-based but not Christian-exclusive. Their purpose is to encourage families in their homeschooling efforts by providing fellowship, information, socialization and support.  They created this group to provide a place for members to participate in monthly park days, field trips, art & crafts, Book-It, projects, holiday parties, and playground time. Brandon Homeschool Cooperative

Brandon Homeschool Cooperative (BHC) is a fully inclusive group of families that shares resources, ideas, and support for all methods of homeschooling.  There are regular activities for children in a wide variety of ages, including park days, field trips, and subject sessions.  Parents also enjoy the monthly Parent’s Night Out, as well as sessions that provide information and support for homeschooling. Brevard Homeschool

Brevard Homeschool, an active group of homeschooling parents in Brevard County, Florida, offers friendship; support and encouragement; field trips; and book club ordering. Christian Educators Of Osceola (CEO) offers field trips, park days, special events, support meetings, and much more. Their mission is to support, encourage and equip families in the training up of their children emotionally and academically. Christian Home Educated Tampa Teens (CHETT) is specifically for Christian (all denominations) tweens and teens ages 10 and up.  Activities include movie nights, game nights, holiday parties, pizza lunches, pool parties, tours and educational field trips geared for this age group, and mom’s nights out. Parents are stongly encouraged to help plan and host events. If there are younger siblings, they are most welcome, but please supervise them as the teens will not- this group is for THEM. Parents can socialize, jump in the activities, and discuss the rewards and challenges of homeschooling middle and high schoolers. No membership dues or mandatory meetings. ChristianHomeEducators Association of CollierCounty

Christian Home Educators Association of Collier County (CHEACC) was established upon basic Christian values and principles found in the authoritative Word of God. Their purpose is to provide information, support, and encouragement to local Christian home school families. CHEACC meets the third Monday of each month at the Center Point Community Church in Naples. Some meetings feature guest speakers, and others focus on topics for small group discussions. Child care is available and visitors are welcome at all meetings. (Collier)

Christian Homeschool Support of the Western Communities has been established to provide support, encouragement, social opportunities, and information related to home education for its members. CM -Big BendArea

Early Years Homeschooling Club of Palm Beach County, Florida is specially geared toward the needs of exclusively homeschooled children ages 3 to 7 and their siblings. All like-minded families sharing “natural family living” philosophies are welcome. Their goal is to have fun, learn from each other, and facilitate child socialization skills.. There is no cost for membership, however occasional small fees to compensate for supplies or field trip admission (if any) may be required. Educational Network of Christian Homeschoolers (ENOCH) was formed with the conviction that the primary responsibility for the education of children rests with their parents/guardians. Christian Home Educators Association (C.H.E.A.) is a Christian support group offering activities, opportunities, fellowship, support, and encouragement for homeschooling families. Informational meetings are offered to our members at least twice a year. The organization is based upon volunteer officers, sub-group leaders who serve on a steering committee for guidance and accountability, and member families who volunteer to help plan activities and events.  (Marion)

Christian Home Educators Fellowship of Florida

Christian Home Educators Fellowship of Florida (CHEFF) provides homeschool families with information, encouragement, and Christian relationships. The coordinators, along with the members, plan and organize activities for the year, including field trips, park days, sports days, Mom 2 Mom, Dad 2 Dad, community service. The coordinators are supported and advised by a few homeschooling mothers who have an abundance of experience and wisdom. CM Homeschools

CMHomeschools is a local support group of Charlotte Mason Homeschoolers which meets in the NW FL area. This group is only open to local members in their support group area. Moderator approval MUST be obtained before joining this group, so please specify where you live when you request membership. They meet monthly and their meetings include a study time in which a topic, related to Charlotte Mason’s philosophy of education, is taught and discussed in the group. A purely CM style of education is NOT required to attend their meetings. They welcome anyone interested in learning more about Charlotte Mason’s philosophy of education. (Okaloosa)

Families Instructing Students At Home (FISH) is a ministry of Bell Shoals Baptist Church.  This is a Christ-centered home school support group ministering to approximately 200 families in Brandon and the Tampa Bay area.  FISH offers a variety of co-ops, competitive sports, recreational sports, field trips, band, choir, chess, P.E. and much more. The Golden Triangle Homeschool Group meets regularly at the park on Fridays. They offer field trips, mom’s night outs, and other events throughout the year. Homeschooled Kids & Co.

Homeschooled Kids & Co. is a local support group for families predominately from Escambia counties Alabama and Florida. The group was formed in the 1990′s when local Christian families, who were homeschooling, decided to come together for support and fellowship. In 2000 the group was officially named Homeschooled Kids & Co. They  currently have sixty-eight families enrolled representing approximately 150 students in grades K-4 through twelve. Families pay a yearly membership fee ($30 per family) which entitles their children to participate in HK&C activities. These activities consist of moms’ meetings, field trips, Park Days, extra-curricular group classes, organized P.E., parties, and service projects. (Escambia)

Jacksonville Homeschool Kids is based in Jacksonville and serves Duval and St. Johns counties . All grade levels are welcome. This is a year round secular group for homeschool families. They have field trips, get togethers, clubs, social activities, PE, special events, academic classes and lots more!
